The Frontrunner Apps Team in Walldorf is an interdisciplinary team of Designers, Developers, Architects, and Product Experts that works closely with customers and internal development organizations to enable SAP, partners and customers to build innovative solutions that meet the expectations of the market and especially the end-users. We are looking for a highly motivated senior software developer or technically savvy Designer.

- Support and inspire the team on its tasks and work on projects ranging from desktop to mobile applications in combination with emerging mobile devices
- Flexibly take up different tasks according to project requirements
- Design software components and apps and implement prototypes
- Proactively share your concepts and know-how with the team We work cross-functional and cross-departmental to:
- Explore innovative near-term technology options
- Identify areas of business innovation with potential impact on the new SAP user experience
- Enable customer co-innovation by involving customers early into the discussion regarding relevant technologies and business concepts
- Use Design Thinking to innovate and share
- Build a network of relevant stakeholders inside and outside SAP's Global Design organization
- Ensure the communication and alignment with other relevant organizational parts and projects within SAP
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Preferred field(s) of experience: Business applications, mobile app development, general software development
- Soft skills: ability to work in a team and independently, good communication skills, high flexibility
- Others: Concept work in software design
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
University degree preferably in Software Engineering, Human-Computer-Interaction Design or comparable experience. Technical and Design Competencies:
- HTML5, CSS, Javascript, IOS/XCode or Android
- SAPUI5, SAP JAM, SAP Fiori Development
- Fluency with wireframing and advanced prototyping and design tools such as Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Additional Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledgeable in technology trends in IT industry
- Knowledgeable in current business trends and drivers for business innovation
- SAP HANA experience would be advantageous
- Ability to bring business and technology together
- Innovative, analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and German
