EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a direct report to the Global Head of Data Center Operations you are responsible for:
- Development and support of strategic initiatives in the cloud area
- Development of new services for the infrastructure management of cloud services in the area of storage, backup, IMAC-D and Data Center Infrastructure
- Support of projects with a strong focus on ITIL, processes and service development for external customers
- Support of onboarding of new cloud units and customers
- Management of task forces
- Support of the DCO management team
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 8 years experience in computer industry and IT infrastructure management
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- You have received a very good Master degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics or equivalent degree
- Flexible, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced and multi-cultural organization
- Good interpersonal skills
- Well-developed analytical skills, including the ability to undertake product and market analyses
- Ability to organize work and complete tasks independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and interruptions
- Ability to manage infrastructure projects
- Ability to communicate and present to senior level IT executives
- Communicating easily in a multicultural environment
- Analytical thinking
- Fluent in English and German
