The Cloud Delivery and Services organization is an execution-focused organization collaboratively working cross functions in closest alignment with all our lines of business, development, HANA Enterprise Cloud and Support. The "Search & Web-Analytics" team is a part of the IT Services organization. Web Analytics is an essential pillar of SAP's Web Platform internally and externally; and hence plays and integral role in SAP's strategy to become THE cloud company. The team will leverage SAP Technology and 3rd Party Tools to deliver a next generation Search & Web Analytics solution. The team collaborates closely with our Standard Development units in all innovation phases including prototype development, piloting new solutions, and development of new and existing products and solutions to take advantage of the latest technologies and trends.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Implementing, improving, optimizing of a large scale productive search infrastructure as part of a distributed team.
- Implementing and improving the Continous Delivery Pipeline for delivering our reliable software on bi-weekly releases
- Analyzing of performance risks
- Take ownership and feel responsible for our infrastructure The work is done in the DevOps model, following an agile SCRUM process.
WORK EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- You are a team player and used to work within virtual teams
- German and english language skills fluent
- Strong linux and good networking knowledge (essential)
- Scripting capabilities in at least two of the following script languages: shell, perl, ruby - at least one language needs to be covered (required)
- Good understanding of modern automation, build and cloud technologies: chef, puppet, aws, docker, bamboo, jenkins or similar (good knowledge of at least three of them)
- Good knowledge about basic building blocks of modern cloud architectures: tomcat, apache, mysql, mongodb, nginx, ha-proxy, jvm (good knowledge of at least four of them)
- Rich experience in troubleshooting and debugging client-server infrastructures as well as performance analysis
- Of additional advantage are: - monsoon automation and sap-hana administration know how - experience in system architecture - deeper security or HA know how - load testing with jmeter - agile and scrum know how
- Berlin as location also possible
