EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Our team is responsible for providing software in the field of project, program and capacity management that meets the needs of the end users. As a developer in our team, you will be working in a fast-paced and agile environment where ideas become reality, prototypes become products, and product increments are shipped in short cycles. In this role, your tasks include:
- Understand the requirements of the users and support the product team in product definition (incl. feasibility check and effort estimation)
- Design and implement new applications and enhance existing tools
- Identify, evaluate and learn new technology and apply in daily business
- Apply unit testing to all software increments
- Plan and execute tests You are also entitled to participate in the unit-wide research initiative that reserves up to 10% of our time for research & innovation, which includes
- Research on new technologies (e.g. Hana, SAPUI5, Mobile, HTML5, …) and evaluation of potential use
- Constant reflection on the way we work and suggestion of improvements to team and management
WORK EXPERIENCE
This is an entry level position for soon or recent graduates with a maximum of 2 years work experience.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
REQUIRED:
- University degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Master, PhD) in computer science, business informatics or related fields
- Good communication skills in German & English - written & spoken
- Deep knowledge and experience with at least one object-oriented programming language
- Very strong analytical skills
- Goal-oriented working style
- Good team player
- Customer focus and service orientation PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of common JavaScript Frameworks (Angular JS, Node.JS or JQuery) is a plus
- Knowledge of ABAP OO, SAP Hana or SQL is beneficial Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships).
