EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Development and maintenance of the SAP Standard Application Benchmark Toolkit using Perl, C, ABAP, Python with support for various operating systems like Windows, Linux, AIX, SunOS and Databases like SAP HANA, SAP ASE, IBM DB2, SQL Server.
- Implementation of new benchmark scenarios using SAPGUI, HTTP, FIORI as well as batch benchmarks.
- Support of SAP Global Technology Partners and internal departments running SAP Standard Application Benchmarks and load tests using the SAP benchmark tool and providing expert knowledge for certification of submitted benchmarks like SD, BW-EML, etc.
- Installation and maintenance of complex SAP system landscapes e.g. 3-tier ERP, BW, sFinancials as well as the systems hosting the reference setup for the certifiable benchmarks.
- Execution and evaluation of internal performance load test using the e.g. newest SAP HANA versions in different deployments e.g. SuiteOnHana, S4/HANA, BWonHANA to find and mitigate performance bottlenecks.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics
- Strong analytical and logical skills
- Very good German and English language skills
- Good programming skills in at least one language e.g. (JAVA, C, C++, SQL or similar)
- Customer orientation with a strong focus on quality
- Preferred skills
- Experience working in software development, ABAP coding knowledge, Database knowledge is an advantage.
